Lagunillas Ski Center

It is the only Ski Center located 2,200 mts (7,200 ft) asl. This center offers a familiar environment with respect for the wonderful nature that surrounds Lagunillas.

Lagunillas is the Mountain Ski Center of the province of Cordillera, in San José de Maipo town, located at 67 kms (41.6 mi) from Santiago.

Due to its geographical location, lets the skier combine the white sport with a nice excursion to the mountain, also to visit picturesque towns in El Cajón del Maipo.

Founded, managed and developed by the Club Andino de Chile since 1933, Lagunillas is the only not-commercial Ski Center in Chile.

Its Ski area is 200 hectares (494 acre); inside them are 13 qualified ski slopes with different difficulty level. Due to its characteristics is an ideal place to the practice of activities concerning with the mountain, ski, randonee and snowboard.

Lagunillas is also one of the few ski centers where the skiers can practice Night Ski.

Slopes and Ski Lifts

Lagunillas has 13 slopes and their difficulty levels change from easy, medium, difficult and expert. The most popular slopes are Novicios, Pancho and La Lola with 350 and 1.100 mts (1,150 - 3,600 ft) long. Also, in this Ski Center is possible to practice night-skiing.

Equipment Rental

In Club Andino, located at the access to the slopes, is possible to rent accessories and ski and snowboard equipment.

How to get There?

Lagunillas Ski Center is located at 52 kms (32.3 mi) to the South-West of Santiago, by Ruta G-25 which starts at San José de Maipo town.

By Panamericana highway (Ruta 5) and cross over directly to the west at San Bernardo town, alter that to take Ruta G-25.

In winter season, the use of wheel-chains is obligatory from the police control station.
